About Leslie Wells

I am an Arizona-based photographer inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the American West. Photography has always been my way of listening to the landscape. I seek to capture moments of light, silence and the majestic power of an incoming monsoon storm, moments seen not only with the eyes, but felt with the heart. Each photograph is an expression of gratitude for the places that continue to shape my life and a reminder that the natural world holds wisdom worth slowing down to hear and to meditate on the beautiful gift of our earth.

When I am not out photographing, I can be found with my husband and our fur babies camping, hiking or jeeping down some wilderness road in the Rocky Mountains.
